Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on, downloading, or using civilnext.in, the provider web dashboard, or the CivilNext Customer, Partner, Staff or Transport apps (the "Service"), operated by Seetharam Engineering and Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. They apply to all users: customers, providers, their staff, and transporters ("Users"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The CivilNext Platform

CivilNext is a marketplace that connects users with independent service professionals, consultants, equipment and material vendors, and transporters. CivilNext facilitates the booking and payment process but does not itself employ the providers or perform their work.

3. Accounts

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• Give accurate, current information and keep your phone and one-time passwords (OTPs) to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Staff accounts are created by the provider that employs you; that provider can see your work and, while location sharing is on, your location.
• You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Profile / Account → Delete Account). See the Privacy Policy for what is erased and what the law requires us to keep.

4. Content you post — zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

The Service lets users post content that others can see: chat messages, reviews and ratings, dispute messages, comments, photos, and property or resale listings ("User Content"). You are responsible for what you post. CivilNext has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post content that:

• is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful or discriminatory, or insults anyone on the basis of religion, caste, gender, disability or any other characteristic;
• is sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, or illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
• is false or misleading, including fake reviews or reviews for orders that never happened;
• shares someone else's personal information without their consent, or is spam or unsolicited advertising.

Reporting and blocking. Every chat, review, comment and listing in the apps has a Report option, and you can Block a user so their messages and content no longer reach you. You can also write to support@civilnext.in. We review reports within 24 hours; content that breaks these Terms is removed, and users who post it are warned, suspended or permanently removed from the Service. We also filter certain offensive words automatically.

5. Payments and cancellations

Payments for rentals, materials, on-site services, consultations and transport are made to the provider through our payment gateway or directly as agreed. Cancellation windows, deposits and returns depend on the service:

• Services and consultations: cancellations close to the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee shown before you confirm.
• Equipment rentals: security deposits are refundable when the equipment is returned safely. If equipment is kept past the agreed period, each extra day is charged at the item's daily rate unless you and the provider agree a new period.
• Material sales: returns follow the policy shown at checkout and any manufacturer warranty.

6. Liability

CivilNext verifies providers but does not control the work they deliver. To the extent the law allows, CivilNext's liability for any claim arising from a service delivered by an independent provider is limited to the amount of the transaction made through the Service.

7. App stores

These Terms are between you and CivilNext only, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the apps and are not responsible for any claim relating to them. If you downloaded an app from the Apple App Store, you must also comply with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if from Google Play, with the Google Play Terms of Service. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, misuse the Service, or put other users at risk. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

9. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Tamil Nadu having jurisdiction. We may update these Terms; we will change the date above and tell you in the app before significant changes take effect.
